La Cava di Giosi

I had the pleasure of trying this place for lunch as a couple. As soon as you arrive you immediately notice that the place is well looked after. We are welcomed by the staff, Mother and Daughter, who accompany us to the table and explain the menu step by step in great detail, as well as being very careful about intolerances (I personally have one) and suggesting valid alternatives. Initially it seems "strange" to eat fresh fish in the mountains, for someone who comes from the sea, but I assure you that the quality of the fish and the way in which it is treated and cooked is superior to many fish restaurants on the coast. All truly delicious, particular and refined flavours, very fresh fish and a decent choice of wines to match from an excellent Sicilian cellar. The room is not very large but the environment is very pleasant, an added value is also given by the fireplace inside the room which makes the atmosphere even more welcoming and familiar. I can only thank you for the wonderful experience, your company and the pleasure I felt in being your customer, you will see me again at the first available opportunity.

Very successful Sunday lunch.Rustic and at the same time elegant location, in a farmhouse located on a hill in Cammarata.Sitting at the table, we are greeted with extreme courtesy, the fixed menu is shown to us, and before the start of the service we are asked if anyone has any allergies, a more unique than rare precaution.Excellent food, from the appetizer, through the first courses, the second courses (the mixed grill was excellent) up to the delicious Sicilian cannoli. Generous portions.When it came to the bill, there were no surprises, in fact the owner was very helpful in managing our booking with The Fork.Compliments!
